With our recent update, Art Storefronts has now added widgets to the blog. These can be used by any member of the Art Storefronts platform.
- Log in to your Art Storefronts Control Panel and scroll down to your Blog Click on the link.
- On the next page, find the tab labeled Widgets and click on it.
- Click on the button labeled Add Blog Widget.
- In the Name box, provide the widget with a descriptive name. Your customers will see this.
- Markup Type is where you can choose the type of widget you want to create. In our example, we’re going to select Custom.
- Subscribe Box: This will create a widget that allows a customer to subscribe to your blog.
- Recent Posts: This will allow customer to easily see what your most recent posts were about.
- Custom: This can be used to create custom widgets on your site. If you create a custom widget and it does not work Technical Support will not be able to assist you.
- Click Create.
- If you created a Subscribe or Recent Posts widget, you’ll be given the option to turn the widget on or off and change its name.
- If you created a Custom widget, you will be given the option to turn the widget on or off. You can also rename it and then in the mark-up editor you can customize the widget with either the WYSIWYG Editor or by using custom coding.
