How To: Link to a New Page Using an Image-Hyperlink Via the Standard Editor

In our WYSIWYG Editor we give you the ability to make an image a link. Below you’re going to find the steps on how to make an image clickable so that it takes your customers to a new page.

  1. Log in to your Art Storefronts Site manager and choose any page that you would like to Edit text on. For our purposes we’ll be using the Shop Art.

  2. Navigate to the Standard Editor and Upload the image you want to make into a link. If you need more information on how to upload an image into the Editor, please see our article How To Upload Images Via The Standard Editor.

  3. Highlight the image.

  4. Click on the button that looks like a chain link. This is the Link button.

  5. A new page will pop up with an empty field where you will need to enter a URL.

  6. Leave that box open and open a New Tab and navigate to the webpage that you are going to want the text to link to. For our purposes we are going to link to the Product Gallery page titled Solo Artists.

  7. Copy the URL for the page you navigated to.

  8. Return to the page where the Editor is and in the box, paste the URL you just copied.

  9. Press Ok.

  10. Press Save.

  11. After you have saved your changes, click on View Live Site.

  12. Go to the Live Page where you made changes to the image and click on the Image.

  13. You should then be taken to the appropriate page based on the URL you entered into the Editor.
